MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE PUBLIC LIBRARY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF NEPTUNE
FEBRUARY 15, 2006
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Luke Tirrell called the meeting to order at 4:35 p.m. The following members were in attendance: Luke Tirrell – Joe Krimko – Teretha Jones – Sandra Fornino Janice Sweeney.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion was made by Joe Krimko and seconded by Teretha Jones to accept, with corrections, the minutes of the January 11, 2005 meeting.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Marian Bauman read the treasurer’s report. A check for $325.00 was written for the Library Association for dues paid since May 11, 2005. A check for $455.00 was written to purchase 100 copies of the book “Good Night Moon” for the Baby Outreach Program. Joe Krimko made the motion to approve. Teretha Jones seconded. Motion passed.
POLICIES REVIEW
The policies selected for review were discussed. Motion was made by Joe Krimko and seconded by Teretha Jones to accept the policies with corrections. Motion passed.
PROCEDURES REVIEW
The Procedure reviews were tabled until the next meeting due to clarity issues.
STAFFING CHANGES
Jeannie Martin will be retiring with a total of 33 sick days. A letter has been submitted to the Board to transfer these days to Leeann Spadafora. Motion was made by Joe Krimko and seconded by Teretha Jones to authorize the transfer of sick days. Motion passed.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion to adjourn was made by Teretha Jones and seconded by Joe Krimko. Motion passed.
