OLD BUSINESS
The financial disclosure forms are due in the clerk’s office.
NEW BUSINESS
A discussion was held on working Saturday’s during a vacation.
After the discussion it was decided that even though this is not a policy change, it should be handled by the policy committee.
The committee will come back to the meeting with a couple different versions of how this should be worded in the personnel manual.
Joe Krimko visited with the census bureau exhibit at the library in Long Branch, while attending a meeting. He feels it would be good outreach to set up a date for them to come to the library to give a presentation and also as a hiring opportunity since recruitment begins in the fall of ’08. All Board members felt this was a good thing and would be great for outreach.
Janet Van Rooy judged the poetry contest entries. The adult winner is Ronnie Cornett and the juvenile winner is Theodore Berry.
The four week checkout will not affect the summer reading list. Books on this list will still circulate for only one week.
A motion was made by Joe Krimko to close for executive session. Laura Granelli seconded. Motion passed.
