Steps to Reserve a Book Online:

1.      Visit our website:  www.neptunepubliclibrary.org

2.      Click on the “Search our Catalog” link

3.      Use the Search Box to find the title.

4.      From the Results List click the “Details” button to the left.  This will provide information about the title.

5.      Click “Place Hold” to the left. 

6.      Enter your Username (Library card number) and Pin.  If you do not know your PIN please call us at (732) 775 – 8241 and we will be glad to provide you with it. 

      Click “Place Hold”.

7.      To place another hold return to the Library Catalog and repeat steps 3 through 6.

·        To place holds there must be no fines and the library card must be current

·        Entering an expiration date is not necessary

·        Only items that are checked out can be placed on hold.  Otherwise the library must be called so the material can be pulled from the shelf.

·        Book Club books and DVD’s cannot be held.
